Sambar Powder is a flavorful South Indian style coarse textured spice powder, prepared by grinding various types of basic Indian spices like coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, dry red chilies, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon, dry coconut, etc. with chana dal.
Sambar Powder is rich in proteins, fibers and is easily digestible, and sambar makes for a delicious weight loss friendly food. To maximize the weight loss benefits, you can increase the number of vegetables in the stew and decrease the amount of salt.

Product Details
Ingredients: Coriander, Red Chilies, Cumin, Fenugreek, Asafoetida, Turmeric, Curry leaves.

Preparation and Usage: Soak 160g of dhal in 250ml of water and pressure cook for 10 minutes for upto 3 whistles. Keep it aside. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, onions, curry leaves and green chillies. Add drumstick, cook for sometime and then add tomatoes and brinjal. Add Aachi Sambar powder, coriander leaves, 750ml of water. Cook with closed lid for 10 minutes. Add tamarind juice followed by dhal and coriander leaves. Finally add salt. Sambar is ready-to-serve.
