Important Notice: Please be aware that Royalmail/Parcelforce has announced plans for several strikes in December. On affected days, this may cause a slight delay in our usual delivery timescales for some orders. We’ll do everything we can to try to avoid any impacts to the service we offer our customers, and apologise in advance if you experience delays receiving your items.
We recommend that you place orders as early as possible, to avoid delivery delays. Alternatively, please place your order using our Click & Collect service to purchase your items.
Temporary Store Closure Notice: Our store will be temporarily closed for the holidays from 2nd to 27th August’23. However, Click & collect service is available from 2nd to 13th August’23 (selected dates only). We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We’ll return on 28th August’23 for Onam special vegetable delivery. Any orders placed during this time will be processed and delivered after 28th August’23. Thank you, and happy holidays!

If the weight of the order exceeds the above mentioned allowance we will let the customer know about the additional charges via email. If no response was received we will dispatch fewer items in the order which fits the delivery allowance.
All customers will be notified about their delivery date and approximate timings via SMS/Whatsapp.
* Our “Standard” home deliveries via courier are normally delivered within 5 working days. Orders will be dispatched after the payment is received (if bank transfer was selected during checkout).
FREE Click and Collect – Customers will receive a SMS/Whatsapp message with the Collection time and Location details.
Cancelling your order – If purchases are cancelled by the customer for any reason before the dispatch, any monies paid in relation to those purchases excluding the payment processing fees (2%+30p) will be refunded. The payment processing charges will not apply for direct bank transfers. Orders will not be refunded if cancelled after the order is dispatched.
For orders delivered UK wide via courier services, if any reason you are not happy and wish to return anything brought from Cambridgespices, we will be happy to offer refunds or exchanges provided the goods are in a fully resalable condition. Refunds will only be made via the credit/debit card/paypal used for the original transaction. Refunds will have post and packing charges deducted. Where an order qualified for free post and packing, we will deduct our post and packing costs from the refund. We reserve the right to deduct any other charges incurred by us such as credit card transaction fees, picking/packing costs, restocking costs, packaging material and return postage fees. Cambridge spices will not be liable for goods that are lost or damaged in transit and recommend that you obtain proof of posting. The customer must bear the cost of returning the goods to us.
Refunds will only be given in accordance with your legal rights on the above products. If your product is faulty, damaged or unfit for purpose, please contact us immediately through email. Please note you will be asked to provide photographic evidence of any damaged goods.
All orders subject to stock availability. Backorders in the unlikely event that an item you ordered is not in stock we reserve the right to substitute it with smaller pack sizes, making up the required quantity, and/or another Brand of similar quality. Failing this we will either a) automatically refund the item or, b) if the item(s) represent a major part of your order, we would email you to advise you of the situation, with potential options, and request your advice on how you would like to proceed.
Customer Notice:
Starting from 1st July’2023 , we will be making local deliveries exclusively on Friday evenings which depends on availability of fresh fruits & vegetables from the market. This change allows us to streamline our operations and ensure efficient delivery to your doorstep.Please place your orders before 10 pm, Wednesday every week.
As usual for the remaining days of the week, we invite you to collect your order directly from our address. Our address is 40 Apley way , Cambourne CB23 6DE. You can place your order for groceries online and we will inform you a convenient time on the same day or next day to visit us during regular business hours, and we will be ready to assist you in collecting your order.
We understand that this change may require some adjustments on your part, and we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause. However, we believe that by focusing our local deliveries on specific days, we can enhance our service and provide a more reliable and timely experience for all our customers.
