Biryani is a mixed rice dish made of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
1 Cauliflower
1/2 cup Peas
1 Onion
2 Carrots
2 Potatoes
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Pepper
1 tbsp Biryani masala
Salt as per taste
1 Cinnamon
1 Star Anise
2 Green Cardamom
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 cup Long grain Basmati Rice
Method
1. Fry onions in some oil or ghee and let them become crisp. Keep this aside.
2.Now add bay leaf, cinnamon, jeera, star anise and cardamom. Then add ginger garlic paste and let it cook.
3.Add the chopped vegetables like carrots, cauliflower, beans, peas, and potatoes and mix them well.
4.Combine this with red chilli powder, pepper, salt and biryani masala.
5.Now add some curd and let it cook for a while.
6. Cook the rice separately and then layer them with the vegetables in between.
7.Finally, garnish with dry fruits, crispy onions and chopped coriander and cover it. Leave for sometime for the flavours to mix up with the rice.
